Team Montreal is a collaborative endeavor between the School of Architecture at McGill University and Concordia University including faculty from the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Department of Design and Computational Arts, the Department of Contemporary Dance, and the John Molson School of Business.
The team is supported by well-equipped and internationally recognized research labs and centers including: the Facility for Architectural Research in Media and Mediation (McGill); Centre for Zero-Energy Building Studies (Concordia); Topological Media Lab (Concordia); and the David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise (Concordia). The faculty team has a breadth of experience and proven capacity in team management and research specifically in the area of sustainable building practices. The student team is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students at all stages in their career from a wide array of disciplines. The project will be further supported by a sponsored design/build studio throughout the 2016-17 academic year.
